Snorri Hallgrímsson

Film composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Snorri Hallgrímsson has scored the soundtracks to a number of major films, winning numerous awards for both his compositions and production work. Released in cinemas worldwide in May 2025, his most recent score was for Words of War, directed by James Strong and produced and distributed by Sean Penn’s production company. Snorri’s music is currently streaming over 2.5 million per month, he’s signed with Deutsche Grammophon/Universal Music and his his latest release on the famous label was The Importance of Birds.
